Job Summary:
We are seeking a passionate and dedicated Early Childhood Teacher to join our team. As an Early Childhood Teacher, you will be responsible for creating a nurturing and stimulating environment for young children to learn and grow. Your role will involve implementing age-appropriate curriculum, providing individualized attention, and fostering a love for learning.
Duties:
- Develop and implement lesson plans that align with the center's curriculum and educational standards
- Create a safe and inclusive classroom environment that promotes positive behavior and social-emotional development
- Provide engaging and interactive activities to enhance children's cognitive, physical, and social skills
- Assess children's progress through observation, documentation, and assessments
- Collaborate with parents and guardians to ensure open communication and involvement in their child's education
- Maintain accurate records of attendance, incidents, and milestones
- Collaborate with other teachers and staff members to create a cohesive learning community
- Stay updated on current trends and best practices in early childhood education
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Early Childhood Education or a related field (or equivalent experience)
- Previous experience working with young children in a classroom setting
- Strong knowledge of child development principles and age-appropriate teaching methods
- Excellent communication skills to effectively interact with children, parents, and colleagues
- Ability to create a positive and supportive learning environment
- Familiarity with curriculum development and implementation
- Experience in classroom management techniques
- Special education or tutoring experience is a plus
